Give us a cuddle

Travelodge used a survey to ask 2,000 men and women travelling alone about their sleeping habits. Methods to overcome loneliness included hugging a pillow, spraying their pillow with their partner's aftershave and cuddling a teddy.

In response, Travelodge has created the "Cuddillow", a bespoke, extra-long pillow with two arms that guests can cuddle.

The Cuddillow will be available free of charge for all their guests on request from reception.

Wolf diet to change

A school production of Roald Dahl's Three Little Pigs has turned the heroes into three little puppies.

Dahl's play is being put on by Hanley Church of England School, in Huddersfield, with 250 pupils from other schools singing along.

Gill Goodswen, who is one of the organisers behind the changes, said: "We have to be sensitive if we want to be multicultural."
