Five things you might have missed last week
1. May the best man win
A Loughborough man was shocked to find he had married his best man. When the "newly wed" couple examined their wedding certificate, they noticed the bride and best man had signed in the wrong spaces. "I've known my best man for over 20 years and he's a great guy - but I don't want him as my missus," said Chris Adams, the groom.
2. Partners in crime
Police in China were baffled when DNA evidence suggested the same person was responsible for crimes in two places at once. Identical twins from Shuangcheng had been committing burglaries and rapes at the same time.
3. No man's land
Iran is planning a women-only resort to boost numbers of female tourists in Western Azerbaijan Province. Women will be able to wear swimming costumes and walk around without headscarves.
4. Clouting around
A clown in Leipzig kicked and punched a 12-year-old boy for throwing confetti at him. Kaspar the Clown has been charged with actual bodily harm.
5. Hats off
An 87-year-old woman was ordered to remove her woolly hat at a Hampshire pub for security reasons. Staff at the Goose told her it hid her face from the cameras. "I'm a bit annoyed because my hair was untidy," Annie Freeman said.
