A gang of workers from Cardiff bemused motorists in an English village by placing a road sign written in Welsh along the highway.
Drivers making their way through Shelford, Cambridge, struggled to understand the messages which warned that "Traffig O'ch Blaen".
Confused villagers discovered that the Cardiff workers were installing a sewer near the rail station. "They've come up from Cardiff and must have had the dual language sign in their lorry," said parish council chairman Charlie Nightingale. "I suppose they put it out and thought no one would notice - but they were wrong."
