Via Rocco Palmo, we have video of the Pope sending his very first tweet:

If you are a pope, sending a tweet involves:
- An audience of hundreds.
- A specially prepared iPad.
- A table - to be removed once the tweet has been sent.
- Encouraging applause following your first, tentative touch of the hardware.
- And Jesus, I guess?
