Adani Energy Limited (AEL) is an energy distribution company involved in gas business. It is a group company of Adani Group. The company is engaged in distributing natural gas. It has started natural gas city distribution project in the cities of Ahmedabad and Vadodara to supply natural gas to industrial, domestic, commercial and CNG customers. Presently, the company has 54 kms of Steel Network and 50 kms of PE network. It has 10 CNG Stations of which five stations are owned and five are co-located.AEL distributes gas in various cities of Gujarat. AEL plans to enter in the cities of UP, Haryana and Punjab in future. The company is headquartered at Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India.

In November 2009, the company agreed to form a 50:50 joint venture with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd for setting up city gas distribution projects in various cities, including Chandigarh, Allahabad and Ghaziabad. The joint venture company is expected to supply compressed natural gas to automobiles and piped natural gas to households and industrial consumers.
