Mr Soaper was most recently senior vice president of aircraft operations at Comair a Delta Connection Carrier. In this role he had operational and administrative oversight of Comair's flight operations, corporate safety, corporate security, systems operations, inflight resources, flight training, crewmember resource, customer service operations, planning and performance. He joined Comair in 1982.
Southern Air operates a fleet of 14 Boeing 747 and two new 777 freighter aircraft and is the first ACMI operator in the world to operate the new Boeing 777 Freighter.
