Mr Winterton has been appointed as president of the companyâ€™s North American Tire consumer business unit. He succeeds Steve McClellan, who was promoted to president of Goodyear North American Tire in August 2011.
Mr Winterton has worked in the companyâ€™s North American Tire business for his entire career. Most recently, he served as chief customer officer for the companyâ€™s North American Tire consumer business.
Mr McClellan said: â€œI am very pleased that Mr Winterton will lead our North American consumer business. Nobody can match his combination of Goodyear experience, industry knowledge and customer perspective. He is absolutely the right person to lead us in 2012 and beyond.â€
Mr Kane has been appointed as vice president of Goodyearâ€™s North American Tire commercial tire business. He succeeds Joe Copeland.
Mr Kane joined the company in 2004 as director of strategic initiatives before moving to director of North American Tireâ€™s consumer wholesale distribution channel. He has spent his entire career in businesses related to the automotive and trucking industries.
Mr Patterson has been appointed in the newly created position of vice president, consumer operations and customer development. He has been finance director for Goodyearâ€™s North American Tire consumer business since September 2008.
Mr Wanstreet has been named as president of Wingfoot who succeeds Kane to return to a leadership role at Wingfoot, where he previously served as vice president of operations for two years through 2009. Most recently, he has been head of operations for Goodyearâ€™s consumer retail business.
