No - it's a diversion from the real problems of the UK. An elected House of Lords and an English Parliament are the first prorities. We must protect the "constituency" based and reject any form of "party lists" which we use in European elections!

The best thing that could or should happen is we hang this parliament, tear the entire establishment down and start all over again. The system is broke the country is broke and the existing politicians are in it because the majority could not hold down a real job any where else.

Works well in Australia. Unlikely to work as Gordon Brown hopes. Will probably lead to Labour being wiped out in the North as Liberals and Tories outvote Labour.
