She has no qualifications or experience in foriegn affairs, she is a fanatical supporter of common purpose which derides common sense and has never been elected for any post by the elective.

Someone dedicated to her role coordinating the views of the member states and representing the EU in the international arena has to be better than a person dedicated to improving his or her own public image (and job prospects!).
