I am aghast to tink that a liar and a double-dealing cheat could even be considered for President of Europe, but then perhaps thatis what we deserve. AWJ. ps I supported Labour all of my life until they made Blair leader of the labour party I have never voted for them since.

Tony Blair as President of the EU. This is the PM who caved in to Treasury pressure and would not take the UK into the Eurozone. This is the PM who took an EU state into a criminal war in Iraq. Merkel will not countenance his appointment. It was always a non-starter.

He should be on trial for war crimes.

A prime (if the not the primary) factor for the choice of President to the EU is consensus among as many of those represented, the people of the Union, as possible. Blair does not comply, as he brought about huge criticism, if not outright antagonism, which still remains.

NS readers need to think abusively and laterally on this matter - they have ONLY THE PLANET TO LOSE.

Europe needs a GREENIE - preferably from an African country, or from China

Far too many NS readers and contributors lack the visceral punch, nouse and vision.

Tony Blair belongs in jail for his crime against the Iraqi people. To even think that this criminal should be the EU president is outrageous.
