Broadcasters hail 'historic' cameras in court reform
Queen's Speech promises historic reform.
Measures to allow news cameras in courts will be introduced over the course of the next Parliament.
It was confirmed this morning in the Queen’s Speech that measures will be introduced in the Crime and Courts Bill to overturn the ban on filming in courts in England and Wales.
It is expected that broadcasters will be limited to filming judges’ comments – rather than evidence from witnesses.
