Watch: Cameron heckled by protester over NHS privatisation

During a visit to the Olympic park, the PM is asked: "why are you privatising the NHS? Why are you lying to the British people?"

The day after it was announced that the NHS-owned blood plasma supplier PRUK had been sold to US private equity firm Bain Capital (the company co-founded by Mitt Romney), here, appropriately enough, is David Cameron being heckled by a protester at the Olympic park over the privatisation of the health service.

Unable to deny the charge that he is "privatising the NHS", Cameron can only offer the non-sequitur that the government is "putting more money in".
