Letters - The Bard bites back

I like Rachel Cooke's strong stance on radio programmes she likes and doesn't like. I'm sorry she's not keen on my voice, but that's life. Going on about my "ecky thump" vowels, though (Back Half, 20 February), seems to want to take us back to an age when only those with posh voices were allowed on the radio. I thought people like Wilfred Pickles had already fought those battles.
