The state we're not in

There was an unfortunate juxtaposition in Books, 24 April. You print a picture of the Golden Temple with a superimposed headline " Place of greater danger" which refers to the accompanying text of a review of Victoria Schofield's book on Kashmir.

The Golden Temple is in the city of Amritsar, which is in Punjab not Kashmir. It is the Sikh's holiest shrine, a temple of reverence, adoration and piety, and certainly not a place of "greater danger".
