In 1998, New Statesman dedicated the first New Media Awards to promote projects that embraced new technology, fresh thinking and creative management. This year, we asked you to nominate projects that use technology to revitalise and recreate dynamic working links between citizens, communities and government. We wanted projects that empower, educate and enhance services previously unavailable.
Who was shortlisted?
2002 produced a great range, and tremendous number, of quality nominations. To read the shortlist for each award click here.
