New Media Awards 2007
Before entering for an award, please check our rules and tips.
Rules
- Award recipients must be residents of the United Kingdom.
- Nominees for Young Innovator award must be under 26 on 1 January 2007.
- Winners from the past 2 years cannot reapply in the same category unless there have been significant developments.
- Nominators must justify each nomination with practical indications as to why the nominee should be considered for a New Media Award by fully completing the online form. All nominations must be accompanied by contact details for both the nominee and the nominator.
- The organisers reserve the right to reject any or all nominations for failure to provide correct contact details.
- The judges may require further supporting information from nominees. Failure to provide any requested information may result in the rejection of the nomination.
- Entries and nominations may only be submitted online using the form provided.
- All nominations must be received by 31 May 2007.
- The judges’ decision is final.
- Invitations to the award ceremony are at the discretion of the New Statesman.
Tips
- The information given in the application forms should be accurate and concise.
- The name of the nominee and the reason given as to why they should win will appear publicly on this site. For an example see nominations so far.
- You may nominate yourself.
- Nominees may be entered in more than one category if they fulfill the criteria.
- Nominees may be entered by more than one nominator.
