Love Lewisham
By using the application taking the step to develop and use this technology has proved to be a creative, efficient and engaging way to improve services. Our staff and residents are able to directly see the outcomes resulting from the actions they have taken. Our waste service in particular are now able to provide the managers with real visual reports of obstacles and this has had the additional benefit of keeping the lines of communication running smoothly. 'Love Lewisham'- Mobile technology used to capture local nuisances such as graffiti on mobile phones and forward it to the appropriate section for immediate and prompt action to be taken. Stephen Osei-Osafo
A fantastic adoption and use of our technology, that has really shown the scope for improving the way citizens and government communicate and interact with each other Ian Blackburn
Application that enables residents and council employees alike to report environmental issues such as graffiti using digital pictures from your mobile phone or pocket pc. The software exhudes brilliance not only because of it's ease of use and simplicity but because of it's sheer effectiveness. Once i send the picture across to the website I get a return text message confirmation and can even look on the website to view my reported 'before' picture and the council's resulting 'after' picture. I no longer have to queue for eternity on the council switchboard line to report a simple fly-tip - and it's free...brilliant! Kamal Uddin

This new and innovative use of mobile phone and internet technology to direct how services are delivered is a real step forward in empowering and informing communities. It provides intelligence, enabling the counicl to respond and tackle problems in a much reduced time. This results in residents and the general public receiving a higher level of service, which responds promptly to their issues and concerns. It can also bring efficiencies in service delivery that can help fund improvements in this and other service areas. What is also critically important is providing information back to the public on the action that has, or is being taken, meaning that the service is a real two way communication. Daniel Harrison
Web based environcrime reporting Glendale believe that this is a fantastic idea. People can send photos of problems straight to the council to be displayed on a web-site. Either straight from their mobile phone or from their desk-top computer. Everyone can see the response and how quickly the work gets done. Other service providers can focus efforts on putting things right, rather than wasting time and money with an old-fashioned, back-covering paper-chase. I understand the Police have started using the system as well. Real joined-up working, at last! Craig Davis
