PhoneAnything's Web-over-Phone technology and email-over-phone technology provides voice access to websites and email through any phone for blind and partially-sighted individuals. The majority of these users do not own a computer but do own a telephone - we are therefore attempting to bridge the digital divide for these users. Our web-over-phone technology also has the advantage that it works better with accessible websites and therefore provides an additional incentive to website content providers to make their website content accessible. Finally our technology provides a simple way for content providers to test the usability of their accessible websites with large numbers of visually impaired end users. Stefan Haselwimmer
