BeWrite
An excellent website for aspiring writers of all kinds. The most friendly and helpful website I've ever visited. Trevor Walker
As an emerging writer, I was thrilled to discover bewrite.net Over the course of only four weeks, I have been able to enter into discussions with writers from around the globe. And in this time, I have been honoured to work with four editors who have encouraged my development as a writer. Neil Marr himself has taken the time to offer comments and encouragement. The site is jam packed with information and extremely easy to navigate. BeWrite is unique, well designed, and backed by talented and dedicated people who make it work. Donna Gagnon
Based in the UK but now with an international reach,BeWrite Books, a traditional, independent publisher, was founded in March 2002 in order to help talented but previously unknown writers, often overlooked by the 'big guys', achieve publishing success. Since its inception it has published twenty-five books a year with emphasis on editorial excellence. Every encouragement is given to the BeWrite authors, so that they might realise their dreams. Enormous help and advice is given, too, to all writers, and the vibtrant BeWrite forums are not only a joy to visit, but also an invaluable resource for all writers,of all levels. Andrea
Bewrite is a wonderful cornucopia of delights. Not only are the people friendly and non-competitive, but they are open-hearted and willing to give advice without discrimination. I am new to the world of writing, but have found the warmth and assistance on this site far superior to any other. Neil's advocacy of Print on Demand is something that all printing houses should endorse. Hazel Buckingham
BeWrite is a writing website geared toward those focused on further developing their skills. Peer and professional feedback is offered and, as everything on the site, is always free of charge. Neil Marr oversees operations and does an outstanding job, to say the least. Troy L. Smith
BeWrite is the most amazing publishing and literary discussion site on the net. It gives hope and encouragement to writers, both new and experienced, and it has an inclusive, yet highly competitive, policy towards publishing books. It will accept all genres (and non-genre specific) including poetry, short stories, non-fiction and fiction -in fact anything well-written is grist to its mill. It has the most ethical attitude you can imagine, and it will never sell a writer short. So, in this often cut-throat world, BeWrite stands out, in my view, as being outstanding in all regards. Michael Hunt
Bewrite is the only website to offer an audience for serious writers not served by mainstream publishers. The site publishes little known or completely unknown writers of merit who fail to reach a readership in the established media. bryan hemming
Bewrite.net is one of the best sites for budding writers around. All services are free of charge. It has an extensive free fiction section, and often gives writers whose work features in free fiction the chance to appear in Bewrite anthologies (NOT vanity press). The forum is informative and friendly, watched over by Neil Marr, the editor of Bewrite, who treats all visitors as if they're members of the family. Bewrite has just undergone a facelift, which has improved the accessibility and made the submissions process easier still. Tracy Hartshorn
It's about time that Bewrite was given an award. It's about time that the creation of a writing comnmunity which reaches the dreams and aspirations of people in six continents was given something. About time that sheer hard work (unpaid), an accessibility and unfailing friendliness, which is part of the Bewrite indentity, that commitment and dedication to excellent in the writing and production of their editorially-led (the editors rule here, not the salesmen) books section, and the nuturing of the first shoots of talent elswhere, had something said about it, some acknowledge made. If these things are to matter, then it really is about time. Peter Maughan
www.bewrite.net is the most stimulating and helpful site for writers that i have experienced. The input of the editors is phenomenal and there is a great system of co-editing. After having searched for a virtual writers' group for over 2 years and being constantly disappointed, i am sure that i have finally found the right locale. Rebecca Latyntseva
