Home Page Mission Our Mission: 1)The website offers a space for children & youth around the world to cooperate, share their ideas and advices on water-related activities through the innovative use of information and communication technologies. (‘ 2)Offers girls equal opportunities for education, training and jobs especially for those children & youth from developing countries through the use of ICT. 3)Trains children & youth to obtain skills and knowledge through water-related activities. For example: the measurement &collection of rainfall. 4)Helps young people to get their first job by water-related skills & knowledge. History When I read the documents of the World Water Summit and studied the collection of rain for plants in my backyard, I discovered that water is so ecologically important to human beings. How polluted was that water? How does it benefit us? I had so many questions.But lots of people don't realize its importance. So I hope to build a website for children & youth called” The Conference of Water” to allow young people to learn, share their ideas and advices on water-related issues. I once heard a story from India. Some women in India spend 3-4 hours per day just walking to and from their homes for water. If we can offer them a chance to learn some skills through ICT, maybe it will improve their lives! E-Ray Huang
