Rupert Murdoch tells Britain: 'We are sorry'

Murdoch's apologies continue as adverts from the media tycoon appear throughout the weekend papers.

Rupert Murdoch followed up his personal apology to the family of Milly Dowler by placing signed full-page apology adverts in all Saturday's national newspapers.

On Friday the 80-year-old News Corp boss met the family of murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler, whose phone-messages were allegedly hacked by a detective working for the News of the World in 2002. According to the Dowlers' lawyer Mark Lewis: "He apologised many times. I don't think anybody could have held their head in their hands so many times."

Normally in this kind of situation the family would justifiably sue. Now, reality. How many average people can fight that kind of money and power?

In the meantime, the MSM will have endless coverage of this inquiry. Various "legal experts" (attorneys with no enough business) will take apart every single nuance. What did he REALLY mean by that? In the States, the MSM is still trying to get ratings out of the Casey Anthony case (protestors, a O.J. style helicopter chase and more).

Despite millions who keep saying they despise Murdoch and Sky, their ratings will be astronomical when they testify.
