News of the World: Heather Mills next to sue?

Alleged phone hacking victim considers taking the paper to court.

Heather Mills, former model and wife of Sir Paul McCartney, is the latest public figure considering legal action against the News of the World.

Mill's claim of breach of privacy would come having seen evidence seized by the Metropolitan police from private investigator Glenn Mulcaire.

Police continue to contact believed victims of phone hacking by News of the World journalists by going through Mulcaire's notebooks from 2005 and 2006. Mills' details are understood to feature in the former journalist's notes.

Mills would be the latest of several celebrities and other high profile figures to file a suit against Rupert Murdoch's News Group; the UK-based News International subsiduary which publishes News of the World.
