Washington Post launches new politics homepage

Site will be headed by Chris Cillizza, author of political blog The Fix.

The Washington Post has launched a new politics homepage, PostPolitics.com, which will offer news along with in-depth, original reporting and analysis. The Post executive editor, Marcus Brauchli, has urged the readers to make PostPolitics.com their homepage because it brings together their expertise and talent in reporting and analysing news.

Apart from the seasoned Post writers and opinion columnists such as Dan Balz, David Broder and Eugene Robinson, the website will also include pieces from The Post's political team, including Karen Tumulty, David Weigel and Nia-Malika Henderson.

The American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity is sponsoring the website.
