WSJ's metro section delayed by two weeks

The Wall Street Journal's local news section for the New York market has been postponed until 26 Apr

Neither the Journal nor its parent had company publicly announced the original 12 April date for the $15m initiative. Some people involved in the project told reporters about the likely starting dates.

The new section is expected to directly compete with the New York Times for New York readers and advertisers. There are rumours afloat that the printing operations of the Journal would be shifted from South Brunswick to Bronx. Currently, the Bronx plant prints the New York Post.
