The Gloucestershire Echo's football reporter for Cheltenham Town has already written two books about the club. He knew Wright, who is currently associated with player-coach at Blue Square North club Fleetwood Town, during his time at Cheltenham.
Palmer said he has held regular meetings with Wright and the book is progressing well. He added that the book would be published by The History Press and probably be launched at an Aston Villa home match next August.
