Hull Daily Mail claims ad boost following revamp

The new 16-page section comes out every Wednesday, and is called 'The Business.' The supplement has a new design, more stories, and claims more 'entry points' for readers. It has a paid-for advertising feature called 'Meet the Team', through which local companies can showcase themselves.

Assistant editor Paul Hartley said that the new supplement has been "a terrific team effort". He claimed that they now have a clearer focus on providing exclusive and relevant content to the local business community, and attractive new platforms for advertisers.
The first edition was reportedly an editorial and commercial success. Hartley said "the challenge is to build on that success in the coming weeks and months."
