Griffin defends ejection of Times journalist
BNP leader Nick Griffin has defended the forcible ejection of Times journalist Dominic Kennedy from
BNP security guards pushed Kennedy out of the Essex pub where the meeting was being held. The extraordinary general meeting had been called to vote on proposals to change the party's whites-only membership rules.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission had threatened the BNP with an injunction if it did not change its constitution to admit ethnic minority members.
Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat members have criticised the BNP for the manhandling of the journalist.
