Bomb explodes in Jerusalem

At least 30 injured and 1 dead in the first bombing in the city for seven years.

A bomb has exploded near Jerusalem central bus station in the first of its kind since 2004, during the second intifada.

At least thirty people are said to have been injured, with three in a serious condition and one dead. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The blast comes as tensions rise again in the region. A few weeks ago a Jewish settler family were stabbed to death, and yesterday around 8 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza strip.

The Israeli deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom claimed that the current situation is similar to the lead up to the Gaza war in 2008-9. Binyamin Netanyahu cancelled his planned trip to Moscow upon hearing the news.

Laughable that the old "it has huge support in the USA Canada, Australia, Indian, Russia, eastern Europe, the non-Islamist population of France, the non-pakistani population of the UK etc." argument is being trotted out. Israel is a country that "proves" at least one monotheism (Christianity) "correct"/"True", and thus will always have unconditional support from at least one of said monotheisms (Christianity), despite the evidence against it. There really is no fruitful debate with those who zealously defend the "infallible Israel"

This is just another very sad incident that has happened.

Last week or the week before, I heard that a two-point-two -children were killed in their home. Leaving to young children who were sleeping in a different bedroom without parents!
