There's a Google Images search plugin for browsers (Chrome, at least, and I assume Firefox as well) that allows you to simply right-click on images, and 'search google images' is a selectable option. No downloading/uploading foolery.
Also, in most browsers, you can simply drag and drop the image from the page it's on to the search box.
