Turning to politics after a successful acting career has become really quite commonplace. But beyond the famous examples of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and 40th US President Ronald Reagan, who are the actors who make the transition to the political arena?
It's a broad list, from Helen Gahagan Douglas, the 1940s Congresswoman who fought Richard Nixon for a Senate seat, to Joseph Estrada, former president of the Philippines and star of over 100 films.
