Daily Mail rolls out 'Rewards Club' loyalty scheme

The Daily Mail's newest ploy to increase sales set to become "biggest ever newspaper rewards program

The Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday are launching what they claim is their biggest-ever rewards scheme this weekend saying that alleged spoiler tactics used by their national rivals were "old and tired".

The Mail Rewards Club is being rolled out across the UK after a trial at the Scottish Daily Mail.

Under the scheme readers will be invited to register online to join the Mail Rewards Club and will then receive rewards including £5 vouchers to spend at high street shops like Tesco, Boots, Morrisons, John Lewis, WH Smith and Argos. Other offers include free cinema tickets and £5 free petrol at BP.

I can - and have - registered my July 3rd number, but it's gone into the July 9th slot as I've already claimed my prize from the first 7 numbers.
I'm just wondering if the dates bear any revelance at all ?

This is dreadful - missed the first reward because we were on holiday and late entering the numbers. Wrote to the inappropriately named Customer Services and eventually received a reply that was not an answer as they missed the point completely.
Absolute rubbish and we shall be voting with our feet and changing newspaper.

Just saw the above comment and agree entirely. I was convinced that you only needed this Saturday's and Sunday's papers to qualify for the £5 Tesco voucher and entered the numbers but guess what? Have to buy these for another couple of weeks!!!
Absolute con.
If it was anyone else the Mail would be up in arms - about time they got the treatment they deserve for running a scam.
