Hull Daily Mail campaign creates 157 apprenticeships

Hull Daily Mail exceeds its target in a campaign to get young people working

The Hull Daily Mail has helped secure more than 150 new apprenticeships in the region after launching a campaign to get young people into work.

The newspaper said its total of 157 had "easily exceeded" its goal of creating 100 apprenticeships in 100 days.

Working together with three partners - Hull College, East Riding College and the Yorkshire and Humber Apprentice Training Agency - the newspaper's campaign ensured all those included in the total were apprentices placed in training with employers.
