Magazine publisher Meredith Corp has launched a new online video network for women featuring videos from its magazine brands Parents, Family Circle, More and Fitness, among other properties.

The new digital video area for women will include content from its magazines comprising different channels and video genres on the site.

Users can watch videos on topics like strength-training workouts, nutrition for newborns, and holiday fashion tips. They can also navigate branded content by selecting specific channels or browsing playlists. Viewers can also customise their own video channel and create content for sharing with social communities, thus emphasising "shareability" among its users.

The Meredith Video Network is part of the company's strategies to bolster its digital assets as it promises to provide advertisers a new way to reach their target markets.

Meredith has also been providing video content for its readers through broadband channels BetterTV.com, Parents.com and MyFirstBaby.com, covering various cooking, decorating and other lifestyle segments.
