Radio Times has decided to add warmth and colour to its special Christmas edition this year with Wallace and Gromit, with the duo appearing on the cover of the festive edition of the magazine.
The iconic animation film characters were chosen as they were warm and eye-catching and millions of readers will enjoy having them on their coffee table, Radio Times editor Ben Preston said.
The two-week festive edition of the magazine usually has a print run of close to 3m and brings in revenue of about £2m. This year's Christmas edition is priced at £2.94 and will be on sale from Saturday.
Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park said he had strived to give the cover all the charm and quality of the animation films.
Besides, Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat, David Walliams, Matt Lucas and David Suchet will contribute to the December issue.
