As part of the IPC Media's review of its niche and specialist titles, the publisher has announced the sale of its bi-monthly sister titles - Wedding and Wedding Flowers - to Hubert Burda Media UK.
The two magazines cater to the niche market of weddings and bridal flowers, targeting a readership of mainly brides-to-be.
However, the move will cause no interruption to the publishing schedule of the magazines.
Linda Swidenban, publishing director, will continue to monitor the publication of IPC's InStyle, Woman & Home and Essentials magazines.
All advertising and editorial staff of Wedding and Wedding Flowers, including Catherine Westwood, the editor of both titles, will transfer to Hubert Burda's High Holborn office with immediate effect.
Hubert Burda Media UK publish a range of other consumer titles, including Your Home, Full House!, Love it!, Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Magazine and Essential Kitchen & Bathroom Business.
Luke Patten, chief executive of Hubert Burda Media UK, said: "We are delighted to add Wedding and Wedding Flowers to our portfolio. Laying claim to 25 successful years already, both titles will be receiving significant investment in order to improve and expand the brands even further."
IPC has been disposing off its niche and specialist titles, starting with men's magazine Loaded, which it sold to Vitality Publishing, apart from the specialist magazines Superbike and Prediction.
