Influx magazine re-launched in print

Print version of magazine will be free of charge

The print edition of car and biking magazine Influx, available only online, has been re-launched by Adrian Flux Insurance Services, and will be given away free of charge.

The pocket-sized package includes 56 ad-free pages with a wraparound, gatefold cover featuring photography from the Le Mans Classic courtesy of Frenchman Laurent Nivalle, plus a photo folio from Canadian documentarian of bike culture Scott Pommier, and an illustrated history of the evolution of the Porsche 911, a release issued by the magazine said.

The inaugural magazine also features articles by Ben Oliver of Car magazine, who muses on the relationships between cars and art, and Gary Inman, editor of bike culture magazine Sideburn.

Michael Fordham, editorial and art director of Influx, has worked with Maze Media and award-winning creative agency The Church of London to create the new magazine.

The glossy boasts a minimalist design and aims to explore the ways in which cars and motorbikes can represent the heights of design, technology and human imagination, Fordham said.
