Publishing director of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan UK is set to leave the magazine to start her own media venture, reports Media Week.
Justine Southall who was previously publishing director at Company, She and Zest, was made publisher of Cosmopolitan in May 2007.
She will continue at the magazine till the end of this year.
Parent company NatMags will reportedly be announcing replacement plans later.
The publisher, in September, launched a free-spin off to the title -- Cosmo on campus - aimed at readers in the age group of 18-21 years. The magazine will be distributed in 65 universities across the country at the beginning of each term till summer 2011.
Cosmopolitan which has the third-highest circulation in women's lifestyle sector according to ABC figures for the six months to June 2010 has seen a 9 per cent drop in circulation from the same period last year.
