Beauty and fashion magazine InStyle has appointed Sarah Hammond as its new publisher.
Hammond, who is currently head of PR/communications for clothing brand Diesel UK, will take up her new position on 13 December.
She replaces Inca Waddell, who was publisher of the magazine since January this year.
Hammond has previously worked for IPC Media as head of marketing for Wallpaper. She has also worked as a senior PR manager at L'Oreal Luxury and as marketing and communications director of Swarovski.
In her new role, Hammond will be responsible for the day to day running of the magazine and will report to publishing director Linda Swidenbank.
"Sarah is steeped in the world of luxury fashion and she will be a fantastic asset to the team. It's great to welcome her back to IPC Southbank and I look forward to working with her to continue InStyle's upward momentum," Swidenbank said.
The latest Audit Bureau of Circulations figures for the six months to June 2010 showed that InStyle's circulation was up 1.8 per cent year-on -year with an average net circulation of 186,251.
