Economist's Micklethwait wins Editors' Editor award
Micklethwait beat editors of Elle and Men's Health to gain prestigious award.

The Economist's John Micklethwait won the coveted Editors' Editor of the Year prize at the British Society of Magazine Editors annual awards in London on Tuesday night.
Micklethwait beat Elle editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy and 2009 winner Morgan Rees, editorial director of Men's Health, to pick up the prestigious award.
The Business Magazine Website Editor of the Year award went to Lisa Glancy for Emap's cnplus.co.uk, while David Moynihan won the consumer magazine website prize for NME.com, published by IPC Media.
Kriss Murison of NME took home the Fiona MacPherson New Consumer Editor of the Year award while Joe Frost won the Art Director of the Year award for a consumer weekly or fortnightly magazine.
The Innovation/Brand-building initiative of the year award went to IPC Media's Wallpaper magazine for its Handmade issue while the launch of the year award was bagged by Lisa Smosarski and ShortList Media for Stylist magazine.
