IPC Media on Thursday announced the launch of the iPad app for its fashion, design and lifestyle magazine Wallpaper.
This is the first app for Apple's tablet device from the UK's leading magazine publisher, Media Week reports.
The free app is being exclusively sponsored by Tudor Watches and will complement the magazine's iPhone app launched earlier this year.
The first edition of Wallpaper for the iPad builds on the magazine's October issue which was guest edited by film director David Lynch and theatre director Robert Wilson.
The app's users can view an exclusive short film by Lynch and a selection of film portraits by Wilson of Brad Pitt, Willem Dafoe, Dita von Teese and Isabella Rossellini.
IPC claims that Wallpaper's iPhone app has so far garnered almost 110,000 users since its launch in April.
Time Warner-owned IPC is the publisher of popular titles such as Marie Claire and Nuts.
