Rodale, the US-based publisher of Men's Health magazine, has promoted senior vice president Mary Murcko to the post of executive vice-president and group publisher.
Murcko, who is also the publisher of Rodale's health and fitness title Prevention, will now take charge of the company's entire ad sales and marketing operations across its print and digital properties.
She will also assume full profit and loss responsibility for all of Rodale's magazines.
Reporting to Murcko will be Jack Essig, SVP/ publisher director of Men's Health and Women's Health, Chris Lambiase, VP/ publisher for Runner's World, Running Times, Bicycling and Mountain Bike, and Laura Petasnick, who will take over Murcko's role as publisher of Prevention.
Murcko has been with Rodale for six years, with Prevention seeing a 10 per cent growth in market share under her, reports businesswire.com.
