Marketing graduate brings out free magazine for City professionals

The new magazine will have an initial print run of 10,000 copies.

In-Debate, a free monthly magazine aimed at up-market career professionals in the City, is set to launch in London, reports the Guardian.

The title's objective is to bring together informed opinions from important figures on current issues. In addition, it will feature high-end content on intellectual and cultural events in London.

Privately funded by a marketing graduate, Daniel de Costa, the 36-page magazine is starting out with a print run of 10,000 copies. It will be distributed for free at Bank, Moorgate, Liverpool Street, Embankment and Westminster tube stations.

De Costa told the Guardian that In-Debate will release on 29 September, if it finds adequate advertising, but could be pushed to late October.

Most of the content will be sourced from Intelligence Squared - a company that organises debating events - where de Costa was formerly employed.
Plans for the magazine include an increase in distribution to 60,000 at 20 central London stations.
