BA staff magazine shows Bin Laden as frequent flier

Publication says graphic displaying Al-Qaeda leader's name on a boarding pass was a mistake.

LHR News, a British Airways staff magazine covering London's Heathrow Airport, has published a photograph of a boarding pass of international terrorist and Al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden.

The cover story of the magazine, about a new service allowing passengers to download e-boarding passes on their iPhones, featured a close-up shot of a white boarding pass with the name of Bin Laden on it.

The photograph even mentioned a seat number along with Osama's frequent flyer number.

LHR spokeswoman Michele Kropf admitted that the magazine graphic was a mistake and said they are investigating how it happened.

British Airways has been in a labour dispute with some of its unions, and mediapersons have speculated that a disgruntled employee may have played the prank.
