National Geographic's EarthPulse launched in Arabic

First ever Arabic edition offers information relevant to Arab world.

The Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Foundation for Philanthropy has launched the first Arabic-language version of National Geographic's EarthPulse report, an almanac that focuses on key ecological challenges facing the planet.

The report, launched to coincide with the World Environment Day 2010, is a special collector's edition of the publication. It takes an in-depth look at the state of the environment, highlighting challenges facing the planet.

EarthPulse's Arabic edition offers information relevant to the Arab world and has a dedicated page on the Gulf's environmental issues written by the Emirates Wildlife Society.

The Arabic translation of EarthPulse was done by the Emirates Foundation, along with a team of environmental experts sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Company.
