Chicago-based publisher Dan Hogan has sold Hotels magazine and the website hotelmag.com to Marketing & Technology Group (MTG), a publisher specialising in food and hospitality.
Since its launch in 1966, the magazine has been considered an authoritative source of information for the global hotel market, the company said.
Just last month, Dan Hogan had purchased the magazine from Reed Business Information (RBI), a publishing house with operations in the US and the UK.
Hotels magazine will move to MTG along with the magazine's editor-in-chief Jeff Weinstein and the sales team. They will produce the June issue of the title and will relaunch its website.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
