As the president of RD Media, he will oversee the publishing of the magazine and other Reader's Digest businesses, the RDA announced on Monday. Lagani will report to Lisa Sharples, the recently appointed president of Reader's Digest Community.

Lagani was the president of Fairchild, a business-to-business retail fashion house. He quit as president in March 2009. He will now replace Eva Dillon, also an employee of Fairchild before she joined the RDA.
