African-American magazine Jet relaunched online
New website: myjet247.com.
By New Statesman Published 11 May 2010The US publisher Johnson Publishing is relaunching its Jet African-American magazine online, after redesigning the lifestyle print monthly about two months ago.
The new website, myjet247.com, features branded channels such as Jet Buzz, Jet Love and Jet Music. It has a mix of original content and general news and entertainment features for its African American audience.
Myjet247 has interactive columns too such as Jet Beauty which allows users to upload their own photographs and express their idea of beauty. Jet will be a brand that will help consumers and advertisers connect with each other, said president Ann Sempowski Ward.
The site targets readers 21 to 34-year olds.
