Health mag launched for South Asians in New Zealand
The Sports Recreation and Outdoor Trust (Sprout), a community and charity organisation in Auckland,

The quarterly magazine launched last week is about healthy living and eating, said editor Ram Lingam. The magazine hopes to create health awareness among South Asians who are known for their high levels of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity, he added.
The magazine features articles that promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles and suggests outdoor options for the community.
Healthguru will be distributed through leading retail outlets. It is also available online on Sprout's website www.sprout.net.nz/HealthGuru.
