Reader’s Digest UK launches ad campaign to celebrate new ownership

The UK arm of the magazine was bought out of administration two weeks ago by private equity company

The strapline of the ad which was published in the national media during the weekend reads: "We've had our issues. Now you enjoy yours totally free". Readers are being offered a free copy of the magazine as part of the campaign, which cost £100,000.

Managing director Chris Spratling said the magazine would continue to invest in mass advertising and may increase its staff strength if needed. The company is now working towards building the brand and expanding business.
