Swinburne University magazine wins Gold Quill

The Australian higher education magazine has won the 2010 Gold Quill Award for business communicatio

The award will be presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) on 7 June at its annual world conference in Toronto, Canada, the Swinburne University Media Centre has said.

The magazine is published thrice a year and carries information about research undertaken at the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. It also shows how the university partners with industry, community, research organisations and the government.

Published in collaboration with Melbourne-based publishing house Coretext, Swinburne is distributed nationally in The Australian newspaper and also in metro editions of The Age. Dorothy Albrecht and Julianne Camerotto are the editors. This year's Gold Quill competition received 900 nominations from 28 countries.
